1. What this service is
AlHilo is a mobile app that lets you save your own threads about the people in your circle, dictated by voice or typed. It's a private memory-support tool: it doesn't provide professional, medical or advisory services of any kind.
2. Who can use it
You need to be at least 16 years old and able to accept these terms. A compatible Android device and an internet connection to transcribe voice recordings.
3. Your responsibility for what you save
Threads are about other people, and those people aren't here to weigh in. By using AlHilo you agree to keep that information with the same care you received it: to remember and to treat your people better, never to monitor, pressure or harm anyone.
Using the app to harass or intimidate someone, to gather information about people you have no personal relationship with, or for any unlawful purpose, is prohibited. You're responsible for the content you save.
4. Your threads are yours
No rights are claimed over what you write. Your threads aren't read, aren't published and aren't used to train models. The technical detail is in the privacy page, which is part of these terms.
5. Price
The first version of AlHilo is free. If paid features exist in the future, they'll be announced inside the app before they exist, and anything you've already saved will stay accessible.
6. Backups
Your threads live in your account, not only on your phone: that's why they survive losing, breaking or replacing it. What disappears is only what you delete yourself, from the app.
7. Availability and limits
The app is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or perfect transcription: review important threads yourself. To the extent the law allows, no liability is assumed for indirect damages arising from use of the app; none of this limits the rights consumer law gives you.
8. Ending it whenever you want
You can stop using AlHilo and delete all your data at any time from Profile → Delete account, inside the app (more detail in privacy). On my end, an account would only be closed for a use that breaches point 3, and with notice beforehand unless the law prevents it.
9. Changes to these terms
If they change, you'll be told inside the app with reasonable notice. If you disagree, you can stop using it and delete your data.
10. Governing law and contact
